Synopsis
In order to provide potential candidates an online service whereby latest job posts can be reviewed and applied for, Earl Street commissioned X:drive to produce a new website to match their new brand identity. The result is an online service that not only allows for job positions to be advertised, but also allows Earl Street to post industry related articles as well as post their job adverts to several job directories around Kent.
Jobs in Kent / KM Jobs Integration
Within the administration area developed by X:drive (X:drive Webmin) users are able to post any jobs to both Jobs in Kent and KM Jobs websites. Whilst this sounds straight forward there was a lot of finite instructions that need to be followed when integrating, one integration sees a http get/post feature activated whilst the user is waiting and the job is posted to the site in real time, where as the other site requires an xml file generated and uploaded to an ftp site which is also handled automatically.
